Frankie Cole
Frankie Cole is a fictional character who appears in the fan-fiction soap opera series, Digital Lane, played by Wallis Day. She was one of the original characters who appeared in the show's first episode on 25 November 2013.

Backstory[edit | edit source]
Frankie came to Digital Lane to live with her grandparents after her mother threw her out. Her mother threw her out after she chose her fiancée over her daughter. Wendy has vowed to look after Frankie. Frankie has not spoke to her sister since. Frankie works in the nightclub as a barmaid. She gets a lot of male attention, which makes Eve Barrett (Claire Cooper) very jealous.
2013–[edit | edit source]
When Frankie was introduced, she was in a relationship with Drew Ross (Tom Felton), and participated in her first major storyline which saw her knocked unconscious by two mystery attacks.
Development[edit | edit source]
Frankie was involved early in the Digital Lane Strangler storyline, which saw her being knocked unconscious, an incident treated as attempted murder. Following the episode dated 29 November 2013, Wallis Day confirmed the storyline in an interview with Digital Spy:
- “The identity of the strangler will be quite a long running storyline, it’s the first big story for the soap. I’ve really enjoyed filming the twists and turns in the story. Working with the great Ann Mitchell and Tom Felton has been such a bonus! I really enjoy getting to work with them.”
